SKU and variant rollouts
One approved system, across the whole range.
Once a product's creative direction is approved, rebuilding it for every colourway and sibling model is waste. Elarta extends the approved system across the range, so each variant is accurate and the family finally looks like a family.
What is going wrong
Rebuilding every product variation from scratch wastes money and produces an inconsistent range.
01
The range looks like several brands
Products photographed at different times by different suppliers sit side by side in a catalogue and undermine each other.
02
Every variant is quoted as a new project
Treating a colourway as a fresh production makes extending a range unaffordable, so most brands only ever invest in the hero SKU.
03
Colour swaps look faked
A recolour that ignores how a matte finish handles light differently from a gloss one is obvious, and it reads as a cheap edit rather than a product.
04
Accuracy drifts across the family
Siblings differ in geometry, packaging and components. Reusing the master unchanged quietly misrepresents them, which is a returns and compliance problem, not just an aesthetic one.
Usually
One good hero product and a range of inconsistent supplier photographs, or a full-price production for every SKU.
Instead
The approved concept restaged per variant, each with its own accuracy pass, delivered in matching naming so the whole range drops in at once.
The product range gains a consistent visual system while every variation stays accurate.
A consistent visual system across every product in the family
A far lower cost per additional product than a new production
Range launches that can actually be scheduled and budgeted
Accuracy preserved across colours, models and packaging
One approved direction doing work for years rather than one campaign
Included
- Reuse of the approved concept and art direction
- Per-variant accuracy pass
- Delivery matched to the original set's naming
Not included
- A new campaign concept
- A completely different product category
- New positioning
- Major new environments
- Platform implementation unless purchased
A variant is a colour or material change on unchanged geometry. A sibling SKU needs its own accuracy pass because something physical differs. A materially different product is a separate scope, and we will tell you which of the three you have rather than forcing yours into the cheapest one.
Enhancements
Additional sibling SKUFrom $1,200
Where geometry, packaging, labels or components differ enough to need a fresh accuracy pass on top of the approved concept.
Extended listing suite per product+$2,000
A full seven-image gallery for a rolled-out variant, rather than the base still set.
When this is right
This is most valuable once you have an approved master concept and a family of related products, particularly ahead of a range launch or a marketplace expansion.
- Brands with a product family rather than a single item
- Range launches
- Clients who have already approved a master concept
What is the difference between a variant and a sibling SKU?
A variant changes only colour, finish or material on unchanged geometry, composition, labels and packaging: $500. A sibling shares the family and the concept but differs physically enough to need its own accuracy pass: from $1,200. We tell you which before quoting.
Is there a discount for doing the whole range at once?
In practice yes, because the setup is done once and scheduling a batch is more efficient than revisiting a product months later. Send the range and we will quote it as a batch rather than as separate jobs.
Do you need photography of every variant?
We need enough evidence of each variant's real colour, finish and any differing parts. A colour name is not evidence. A photograph, a swatch or a spec sheet is.
What if a product is only slightly different?
Then it is probably a sibling, and it needs its own accuracy pass. The temptation is to treat it as a variant to save money, but that is how a listing ends up showing a product that is not quite the one that arrives.
