Product motion advertising
Some products only make sense when they move.
A mechanism turning, a material catching light, a transformation happening in one continuous take. Elarta builds short product films that make one selling point immediately obvious, then recomposes the same concept for all four essential aspect ratios.
What is going wrong
Static visuals cannot always communicate movement, mechanism, transformation, scale or material quality.
01
The mechanism is invisible
A still image can show that a product has moving parts. It cannot show them working, which is often the entire reason someone buys.
02
Scale is a guess
Shoppers routinely return products because they arrived smaller than expected. Motion establishes size against a hand or a surface in a way a cropped still never does.
03
The material does not read
Machined metal, brushed finishes, glass and grain all announce quality through the way light moves across them. Static photography flattens exactly the thing the price is justified by.
04
The ad and the listing disagree
Film made in isolation rarely matches the product page it sends traffic to, so the visitor arrives somewhere that feels like a different brand.
Usually
A supplier photograph on white, a spun 360 loop, or a stock-music montage that could be selling anything.
Instead
One commercial idea, fifteen seconds, built to prove a single claim, recomposed for 16:9, 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 — plus a six-second cut for the placements where attention is shortest.
A concise product commercial that makes one important selling point immediately understandable.
One film that communicates a mechanism faster than a paragraph of copy
16:9 included, which is the format Amazon and YouTube actually ask for
Native 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 too, so nothing is cropped at the point of use
Sound-on and sound-off exports, because most feeds autoplay muted
A six-second cut for the placements where fifteen is too long
One film with a long useful life: ads, listings, product pages, decks and screens
Included
- Hero film of up to 15 seconds
- The film recomposed and finished for 16:9, 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1
- One six-second cutdown in your selected priority ratio
- Sound-on and sound-off exports
- Product-accuracy and final-quality review
Not included
- Live-action filming
- Multiple creative directions
- Media buying or campaign management
- Editable production files
- A 45 to 60-second explainer, which is a separate custom scope
The four ratios are one approved concept recomposed and finished for each frame, not four separate films. A horizontal version needing extra scenes, a different environment, new camera moves, different messaging or a different runtime is an additional creative version, quoted separately. This is generated and composited production, directed and finished by a person — not live-action filming, and not a 45 to 60-second explainer.
Enhancements
Extended product filmFrom +$2,000
A 20 to 30-second version where the approved concept naturally supports a longer narrative. A new concept or substantially more scenes is quoted separately.
Additional opening hook$700 each
An alternative first few seconds on the same approved concept, so paid social has something to test against.
Six-second cutdown formats$200 each, or $500 for all four
The fifteen-second film ships in all four ratios as standard. The six-second cut comes in the one ratio you nominate; further formats are priced so the headline offer stays generous without quietly multiplying every variation.
When this is right
This is most valuable when the product does something a photograph cannot explain: a mechanism, a transformation, a material quality, or a scale that shoppers keep misjudging.
- Paid-social campaigns
- Product launches
- Amazon video placements
- Shopify product pages
- Products with visible mechanisms or transformations
- Premium products that reward material and detail shots
Is this real filming or is it generated?
It is produced with modern generation and visualisation tools, directed, composited and finished by a person. We say so plainly on every project. Your product's real geometry, controls, labels and materials are held constant across every frame, and accuracy approval is a named step.
Why fifteen seconds and not thirty?
Fifteen is long enough to establish a product, prove one claim and resolve it, and short enough to stay disciplined and run in most placements. Where a concept genuinely needs longer, a 20 to 30-second extended film is available from an additional $2,000.
Do you need the physical product?
Usually not. We normally work from high-resolution photography, packaging artwork, dimensions and approved reference material. Where accuracy genuinely requires it and shipping is practical, we may request a sample.
Do I get 16:9, or only vertical?
All four ratios are standard: 16:9, 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1. Horizontal matters more than a lot of studios pretend — Amazon's video placements ask for 1920 by 1080, YouTube in-stream and connected TV are horizontal, and it is usually the best version for a product page, a deck or a trade-show screen. Charging extra for the format Amazon expects would be an odd way to sell to Amazon brands.
Are the four ratios four different films?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than let that be assumed. They are one approved concept recomposed and finished for each frame: the product repositioned, typography adjusted, safe zones checked and each one exported and quality-checked. Where a horizontal version genuinely needs extra scenes or different messaging, that is an additional creative version and we quote it.
Will it work with sound off?
Yes. Every film is delivered in sound-on and sound-off versions, and the sound-off cut is designed to carry the argument on its own, because most feeds autoplay muted.
